Business Startup Failure: Entrepreneurs – Learn – Take Heart

Business startup failure is common (we are all familiar with the “80% of new businesses fail within the first five years stats”) and can be devastating to the entrepreneur and their families. Just this morning I read a blog post by Tony Featherstone who discussed the frustration and even depression many entrepreneurs feel when their new businesses do not go as planned and they measure their entrepreneurial success (or failure) against the success stories of what he calls “super hero” entrepreneurs whose stories permeate popular entrepreneurship literature.
